Established in 2009, this facility is located in the Southwest Santa Rosa quadrant known as Roseland on 9.5 acres. The academic programs offered at this location currently include Noncredit English as a Second Language (ESL), College Skills, Lifelong Learning, and Computer Literacy, as well as a credit course in Emergency Medical Response. This location provides access to registration, assessment, counseling, and follow-up services to various off-campus locations throughout Sonoma County.
Each year, SRJC Roseland, formerly the Southwest Center, serves more than 3,000 non-English-speaking and conventional students from across the region. This facility serves as a point of entry for newly arrived immigrants from around the world. On any given day, you can hear multiple languages spoken and experience the different cultures students at this site bring from their native countries. This thriving campus provides academic instruction to a diverse student population enrolled in general education, vocational certificates, and other courses. The academic success students achieve at this campus enables them to enter the local and regional workforce and succeed in our community.
